✅ System Requirements:

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
4GB RAM minimum
100MB free disk space
Second monitor for dual screen (optional)
Internet connection for license activation

📥 Installation Steps

Step 1: Download the Installer

Download OhRomeo Teleprompter Setup from:

Step 2: Run the Installer

Double-click the installer file. If Windows SmartScreen appears:

Click "More info"
Click "Run anyway"

Step 3: Choose Installation Options

Step 4: Complete Installation

Click "Install" and wait for the progress bar to complete. Click "Finish" when done.

🚀 First Launch

Step 1: Launch OhRomeo

Double-click the desktop shortcut or find it in your Start Menu.

You'll see a splash screen for a few seconds, then the main window appears.

Step 2: Open a Script

Press Ctrl+O or click the folder icon to open a .txt or .md file.

You can also drag and drop files onto the window.

Step 3: Start Scrolling

Press Space to begin auto-scroll. Use +/- to adjust speed.

Press Space again to pause.

🔄 Updating

To update to a new version:

Download the new installer from our website
Run it - it will automatically upgrade your existing installation
Your settings and license will be preserved
No need to uninstall first

🗑️ Uninstalling

Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps
Find "OhRomeo Teleprompter"
Click the three dots and select "Uninstall"
Confirm the uninstallation

📝 Note: Uninstalling will remove the program files but preserve your settings and license files. To completely remove everything, delete these files after uninstalling:

C:\Users\[YourUsername]\.ohromeo-config C:\Users\[YourUsername]\.ohromeo-license C:\Users\[YourUsername]\.ohromeo-trial

❓ Troubleshooting Installation

Problem	Solution
Installer won't run	Right-click and select "Run as administrator"
SmartScreen blocks it	Click "More info" then "Run anyway"
Antivirus warning	This is a false positive. Allow the installer.
Installation freezes	Restart your computer and try again
Access denied error	Run installer as administrator
